This is one of the best intakes for the Evo X money can buy. Installation is very straight forward and simple to do. Once installed you will notice the suction noise is improved and allows the engine to breath better than the stock airbox. This unit improves the appearance of the engine bay 100 fold. Be the envy of all your friends and purchase this unit, you will not regret it. The way this intake works is from it sucking cold air from the front of the vehicle to the right of the mitsubishi emblem, with shielding from the hot engine bay so the unit keeps cool. You also get a flawless radiator cooling panel to tie in with the GruppeM. Along with looks, the response of throttle is improved as it feels a little bit sharper. Good gains can be make over the stock airbox upon a tune. Thanks for an awesome product.
